When do I know I've been heard? The stupid answer is I know
it when I know it. But there are more concrete signs:
1) The listener
correctly anticipates where I'm going with my story (without stealing my punch line).
2) I don't feel I have to hold back. I don't have to defend my ideas or position.
3) The listener correctly describes what I'm saying.
4) I feel good after speaking.
How do You know when you've been heard?
